Custom domains: your forms, your brand

Sharing a form link that says fomr.io/s/abc123 works fine for internal use. But when you send that link to clients, embed it on your website, or print it on business cards — it doesn’t feel like yours.

Today we’re launching custom domains for Fomr forms.

How it works

You can now host your forms on your own domain. Configure it once in the Share tab, and your forms live at forms.yourbrand.com/contact instead of a generic builder URL.

SSL certificates are provisioned automatically. No DNS headaches beyond pointing your domain to our servers. Once configured, every form you publish to that domain gets HTTPS out of the box.

Your own domain: Point forms.yourbrand.com (or any subdomain) to Fomr. Full white-label experience — respondents see your domain in the URL bar, never ours.

Fomr subdomain: If you don’t have a custom domain, you can use yourbrand.fomr.io with custom link paths. It’s a step up from the default random form URLs.

Both options let you set custom paths. Your contact form lives at /contact, your survey at /feedback, your registration at /register. Clean, memorable URLs.

Why custom domains matter

The URL is part of the brand experience, even if most people don’t consciously notice it. Here’s where it makes a real difference:

Client-facing forms — When you send a form link to a prospect or client, forms.youragency.com/project-intake carries more credibility than a third-party URL. It shows you invested in a professional setup.

Printed materials — QR codes and URLs on business cards, flyers, and event materials look cleaner with your own domain. They’re easier to remember if someone types them manually.

Email campaigns — Links to your own domain get better click-through rates. Some email clients and spam filters treat third-party form builder URLs with more suspicion.

SEO for embedded forms — If you’re embedding forms on your website, having the form hosted on your domain (or subdomain) keeps the experience cohesive and avoids cross-origin issues.

Combine with design customization

Custom domains pair naturally with our custom design and themes. When a respondent opens your form and sees your domain, your logo, your fonts, and your brand colors — there’s zero indication they’ve left your website. The form is indistinguishable from a page you built yourself.

That’s the goal: forms that feel native to your brand, not bolted on from a third-party tool.

Available on Pro

Custom domains are available on the Pro plan at $17/month, which also includes branding removal and SEO controls. The free plan includes Fomr subdomains with custom paths.

Set up your custom domain in the Share tab of any form.
