The Platform API is how you work with Fomr from outside the app. It is a REST API over HTTPS that speaks JSON in both directions, and every endpoint lives under one base URL:
https://platform.fomr.io/v1The Platform API is available to every Free and Pro organization.
Who it is for
Section titled “Who it is for”Anything that runs without a browser: an internal tool or product that creates forms for its own users, a script that keeps a form in step with a spreadsheet or database, or a CI job that publishes a form checked into version control. Calls go from a server, a script, or a command line, never from page JavaScript; Conventions explains why.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”Create forms from a Form Blueprint or with AI generation, edit and publish their drafts, organize them in workspaces, move them to Trash and restore them, save them as Private Templates and start forms from those, and read and export submissions. The API reference lists every operation with the permission it needs and its cost.
Versioning
Section titled “Versioning”The version is part of the path, and the contract is dated: the current Contract Revision is 2026-10-26. Once the API reaches general availability, /v1 only grows and breaking changes move to /v2. Read the API changelog before updating a client; it holds the full compatibility policy and every revision since launch.
