Date Range

Type key: date_range_picker. Renders a calendar picker where respondents choose a start and an end date. In the editor this is the Date Range block.

A question: the question rules apply, and it can sit in a layout row column.

Defaults and rules

• The defaults are date_format: "DD/MM/YYYY" and an open date_range, with min and max both null.
• date_range.min and date_range.max bound both the start and the end date, as ISO 8601 timestamps such as 2026-01-31T00:00:00Z.
• The node has no default_value.
